I never thought I'd be the kind of woman who dreaded washing her hair.
But at 54, that's exactly what happened.
Every time I stepped out of the shower, I'd look down and see another clump of hair wrapped around the drain.
At first, I convinced myself it was just a stress or maybe I was just getting a bit older.
But then I started noticing my hair wasn't just shedding more.
It was starting to look noticeably thinner.
My part was getting wider, and my temples were becoming more visible.
And the thick, healthy-looking hair I'd had for most of my life seemed to be disappearing right in front of me.
I started avoiding certain hairstyles because they exposed too much of my scalp.
I hated standing under bright lights.
And whenever someone stood behind me, I wondered whether they could see straight through to my scalp.
It sounds ridiculous until you've experienced it yourself...
And believe me, I tried everything:
❌ Thickening shampoos — They gave my hair a little extra volume after washing, but by the next morning, it looked just as thin as before.
❌ Hair supplements — I spent hundreds of dollars on biotin, collagen, and hair vitamins, hoping they'd make a difference. But I couldn't see the results I wanted.
❌ Expensive salon treatments — the fullness never seemed to last and it cost me a fortune. I can't be doing this every time I go out.
I was embarrassed, frustrated, and honestly starting to feel hopeless.
Can you relate?
